NOTE: The following workshops have been added in after the brochure was printed. The following workshops are IN ADDITION to those already printed in the original brochure for the 3:45 - 4:45 pm time slot.

Ballroom-- College Prep 101 for Parents and Students-- Northland International University-- This session, presented by Mike Glanzer, Executive Director for Student Enrollment at Northland International University, will be a help to you and your family as you go through the transition from high school to college. Topics discussed will include guidance counseling advice, financial aid preparation, and helps for choosing a college that is right for you or your student as well as other practical matters relating to these important years of transition.

Broadmoor- Tips for Learning World Languages at Home- Chris and Amy Roe from Christian Novel Studies- The Roe family began its "learning-language-at-home" journey 15 years ago. Our oldest daughter, Amy, graduated from college in 2006 with two degrees in Spanish. We've discovered five main concepts about language learning at home- and we'd like to share those tips with you!!

Crown Room- Reviving American Principles- American Opinion Foundation- This session will feature discussion and arguments for a return to our Founders' original intents and practices.

Milwaukee Room- Start a Home-Based Medical Transcription Business- The Medical Transcription Service- Demand for medical transcriptionists is soaring!! Make money part-time or full-time!! Whether you're just exploring possibilities or are already experienced, this class is for you!! Work through a large workbook ($20 workbook fee payable to instructor at time of class- the workbook is optional). Your instructor has been a medical transcriptionist for more than 20 years, operates a large MT biz and has taught for many other programs. You'll enjoy her warmth, humor and practical advice. *Note: This evening shopping period is included with the full Thursday price. However, if you wish to “shop only,” this is the ONLY time throughout the weekend that this option is available. The only way to get into shopping on Thursday evening is to: (1) have paid for attending the full day on Thursday; (2) be a current subscriber to Wisconsin CHEA; OR (3) pay a one-time Thursday evening SHOPPING ONLY price. This price allows entrance into the vendor hall from 5:00—9:00 pm ONLY!!!!!!! Please see registration form for these options.

*Note: This workshop is free to anyone who is interested in home schooling, wants to get started home schooling, has just begun home schooling, or needs more information on home schooling. Entrance is absolutely FREE. However, please remember that entrance to this workshop DOES NOT allow entrance into the vendor halls Thursday evening.
