We were all very honored and excited to have our own Governor Scott Walker join us that day to speak at our annual spring conference.
We are very thankful to Governor Walker and his staff for taking the time to speak to everyone and to care for the needs and concerns of the Wisconsin home educators.
Governor Walker spoke to our crowd of attendees- well over 600 people!! We thank the Lord that we were were given the opportunity to be positive testimonies for homeschooling to the Governor and his staff.
Governor Scott Walker was very gracious to spend extra time with the people after his talk. He shook hands, talked to adults and children alike, and allowed many photos to be taken. Please read this entire message, and check the bottom of this page for photos from that day!! We have heard nothing but positive feedback from all sides regarding Governor Walker's appearance. We are so very thankful for this great opportunity. Praise the Lord for it!!
What could have been more exciting than to have Governor Walker present Al and Jan Gnacinski, founders of Wisconsin CHEA, and their board members with a beautiful plaque and Proclamation, declaring that day as Wisconsin CHEA Homeschool Day!!!
Here is the text of that proclamation:
